Meta launched Muse in Japan on October 23, describing it as the personal agent’s first market outside North America. The announcement lists iOS, Android and muse.ai as access routes, with many basic features free and subscriptions available for additional use. This is a regional expansion, not a new global launch.
Meta names Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram among connected services, alongside travel and commerce providers. It also says it is progressing partnerships involving Mercari, Money Forward ME and Ticket Pia; that wording does not establish that every local integration is already available. Separately, Meta says Japanese availability of advanced voice, Realtime Avatar and Muse’s own email address will be announced later. Those Connect announcements should not be read as part of a fully delivered Japanese feature bundle.
Editorial take: Regional availability is meaningful when the agent can reach the services a person actually uses. Check the live connector catalog and one bounded workflow before moving recurring responsibilities across. For shopping or travel, distinguish gathering options from approving the final transaction. We have not tested the Japanese rollout or local integrations.
