Grok Bot’s October 11 changelog gives Bots their own email addresses for receiving messages, with outgoing mail held for approval on a draft card. The same entry adds X searches without a connected X account and interactive cards from apps such as Figma, Notion and Canva. It also lists payments through X Money or Stripe Link. Version 0.70.2 bundles four preceding versions, so these changes belong to a release roundup rather than a new October 14 launch.

The team setup has an important extra condition. Grok Bot’s administrator guide, updated October 12, says Agent Email is off by default. Members receive its email tools only after it is enabled; switching it off later removes those tools and stops email routines. The changelog also says Bots check the user’s own messages for authorization before irreversible actions. These are documented vendor behaviors, not independently tested guarantees.

Editorial take: A dedicated address gives an agent another route for receiving work, but teams still need a clear operating policy. Decide who may send it requests, which outgoing messages need review and who notices a stopped email routine. Before routing important correspondence there, test the complete loop from an incoming message to an approved, correctly addressed response.
