Grok Bot’s October 7 changelog lists fixes to everyday failures: Gmail send and reply actions should no longer hit a missing-tool error, and the agent now waits through Google rate limits. The company also says its browser can recover from crashed tabs and abandon pages stuck for 25 seconds. These are vendor-reported changes, not results from our own tests.

The same release, version 0.68.1, adds slide-deck creation with PowerPoint or Google Slides delivery. It also says Stop, or a new user message, ends an unresponsive agent step within roughly 30 seconds. That makes the update relevant both to people creating work and to people trying to interrupt a task that has gone wrong.

Editorial take: Recovery and interruption deserve as much attention as a polished demo. For an assistant trusted with email or browser work, the useful question is whether it reports failure honestly and returns control predictably. This release offers concrete behaviors to check before handing over a more important workflow.
