OpenAI’s October 5–9 roundup says Dots no longer sends extra phone notifications while the user is already active in ChatGPT. It also lists a fix for Outlook setup getting stuck and autofill for email verification codes. These are reported product fixes, not a claim that this publication reproduced the original failures or retested them.

The roundup also addresses approval buttons being clipped by large Gmail previews, unreliable Enterprise access on the web or when starting a voice call, and excessive network usage. Its public announcement is dated October 9; the individual fixes are grouped into a weekly window rather than assigned separate shipping dates.

Editorial take: These changes concern the parts of an agent people notice when something goes wrong. A missed approval button or repeated alert can make otherwise useful work difficult to supervise. Reliability reviews should therefore include setup, interruption and recovery, alongside the quality of whatever document or answer the agent produces.
